Parent helpers are vital to our program and parents/guardians are required to help in their child's classroom a few times a semester. Volunteering in the classroom provides parents with opportunities to become familiar with, and help guide, the learning process. Parents are able to see first-hand what interests their children, how they interact with peers and the teacher, and which activities come naturally and which are more challenging. Children take enormous pride in having their grown-ups be the helper and are assigned special leadership roles on those days. Parent's also provide a small snack for the class on their days as well as assists in a variety of areas of the day including helping young children get their outerwear on when it's time to go outside. Parent Helper days are scheduled on a sign-up, rotating basis to fit families' schedules.
Please Note: Siblings are welcome to attend on your parent helper day
