Playschool Classes, Hours & Tuition

The Playschool's morning mix 3/4 classes are for children who have turned 3 by September 1st. There are numerous benefits to mix-age grouping including a boost in both self-esteem and confidence. Younger children in mixed-age classrooms are able to participate in more complex activities when their older peers initiate it while older children are apt to take a leadership role and care for younger classmates. Mixed-aged classrooms foster peer tutoring environments, which have both academic and social benefits.

The Playschool's afternoon 4/5 class is for children who have turned 4 by September 1st. "Combo classes" are when qualifying students are enrolled in both a morning class and the afternoon class, with our Lunch Bunch program inbetween, to create a full day option.

Each class period includes free play, circle time, large muscle movement, snack and outdoor play. Our large playground is a must see! Trees, sand pit, slides, mud kitchen, balance logs, sledding hill and more.

In addition to our regular class schedule, The Playschool has special events such as Hike Day, trips to the fire station, Pajama Day, Upstairs Playdate, Friendsgiving Feast, Holiday Program, Flashlight Day, Bike Day, and more!

The Playschool follows the Anchorage School District Calendar of holidays and weather related closures.

Tuition is due on the 1st of the month. After the 10th of the month a late fee of $25 will apply.
